My husband and I put the kids to bed last night and went to a late night showing of, the now PG-13, "The King's Speech." I thought it was such a good movie. It takes place in the years coming upon the Second World War. It made me think about the phrase "Keep Calm and Carry On." About a week ago I googled where that phrase had come from and found on wikipedia that it was a phrase the British government put on posters and posted around the country during the war to have people be "Calm" and "Carry On."
I though I would post some projects that have been made with that phrase. And now that we all know where and why the phrase exists it will mean a bit more.
So as you can see the phrase has been made and crafted into everything a crafter can think up, PLUS, remade into a thousand different new phrases. So now you have the lowdown on what it's all about.
Go see the movie...It's really good!

I can't remember where I saw these, but I also want this set of posters: one has the original saying, the other says "Now Panic & Freak Out". HAHAHAHA!!!
