Rufflely Strapy Goodness

Eclectic Whatnot had a deal on one of those deal websites for her DSLR Camera Ruffle Strap at a great price. I fell in love with her blog and etsy shop and photography! She's like a Triathlete in the DIY world.
This is Ruthann, the mastermind behind her Esty Shop and beautiful photography.

This is the strap I got, but with a bright pink ruffle
So Pretty!

I love it! I forgot to take a picture of it before I put it on my camera.

Go and check out all the fun Goodness over at Eclectic Whatnot.

Pin-It Wednesdays - #1

Ok...I'm going to attempt to do something new and different...please let me know if this is lame!

I want to do a Pinterest Linky Party once a week.

I think this is how it will go:

Where you normally put the name of your Post you are linking up you will put your Pinterest user name (so others can find you on Pinterest and follow you)
Then in the URL field you will post the URL to your Favorite Pin you found this week. which will have you upload a picture from the Web.
and of course your email, which is not published.

Then...Spread the Word

This is a new kind of Linky Party!
I'm always looking for new people to follow on Pinterest.

Thanks for Playing...Let me know if there are any bugs to iron out.

Patriotic Wreath

I finally finished my Patriotic Wreath...It wasn't done in time for the Memorial weekend.

Covered in White Yarn then Blue and Red wound around that. I made the satin flowers and then attached them with yellow star brads...which I bought years ago for a Christmas project, but I think this was a good use!

I think it turned out really cute!

Chex Muddy Buddies

My Sister-in-Law was the one that introduced me to Chex Muddy Buddies when I first joined my husbands family.
Every now and then I crave them! So last night was one of those nights. I love it because it's fairly quick to make and I usually have all the ingredients on hand. Bonus!

It's Chex cereal wrapped in chocolate and peanut buttery goodness with a coating of powder suger just to top it off!

A close up so you can understand the yummy-ness even more.

(I forgot the peanut butter in my picture)

What you need:
9 Cups of Chex or Crispex cereal
6 oz of semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1/4 cup Butter
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar

How to make it:
Measure cereal into large bowl - set aside.
Microwave Chocolate Chips, Peanut Butter & Butter in a bowl for about 1 minute on High.
Stir and microwave another 30 seconds or until mixture is stirred smooth.
Stir in Vanilla.
Pour mixture over cereal and stir until cereal is well coated.
Pour into a large food storage bag, add powdered sugar, seal bag, and Shake until evenly coated.

Enjoy with a glass of cold milk!
