CoverGirl Makeup Makeover

Thank you to Kroger and CoverGirl for sponsoring this review. While CoverGirl provided me with a $30 gift card to purchase CoverGirl products at Kroger stores, the opinions I've expressed here are solely my own, represent my honest viewpoint, and not that of CoverGirl, Kroger, or Proctor & Gamble. I am making no claims about the products, just expressing my thoughtful opinion. Clever Girls Collective supports Blog With Integrity.

I don't claim to be any kind of make-up expert...At All!
I kind of stick to my same make-up routine and don't stray to far from the norm.
So, I was so excited when I got this opportunity to spend $30 that was given to me solely for the purpose of buying make-up and share my thoughts with you.

The products I bought were:

CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer, in hopes that it will "fill in" any skin un-even-ness (not a word, but it gives you an imagine).

CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain (I don't wear a lot of lipstick, but I wanted to try the 'stain')

CoverGril Liquiline in Violet, I'm getting risky with that.
and a liquid eyeliner...that one was a need.

I don't mind buying my make-up from my local grocery store. The prices are great for the pocket book and there are so many options and variety to chose from and it is all right there for you to see.

I will tell you I was a little disappointed because before I got to my local grocery store to get my make-up haul I had visions of getting some fingernail polish for the summer...But CoverGirl doesn't sell fingernail polish. Oh well, next time!

I was going to give you a before and after picture of me with all the new make-up on but we were told we could only use stock pictures provided.

Where do you buy your make-up? What brands are your favorite? Any items you could NOT live with out, or a certain color that you would clear the shelf if you knew it was going to be discontinued?

Pin-It Wednesdays - #2

I'm so excited that there was such a great turn out for my first "Pin-it Wednesdays" Linky Party last week.

So it's a 'Go' for this week too!

Here's a few of my favorites that were linked up:

Are these little piggies just so adorable!? Looks like there are rubber bands around the ankles.
So. Cute.

I really want some of these pillows on my bed.

I felt more relaxed by just looking at this picture.

I LOVED this picture because I felt like I could do this with my room. I own the yellow pillow barely in the picture and also the grey and yellow comforter at the end of the bed. Might have to paint me some Blue walls now!

If you have been featured I would love if you grabbed my button on the sidebar and slap it on your blog!

Ok, so a Slight change from last week.

In the "Name" field describe your pin and then put a hyphen and then put your Pinterest user name so we can locate you
ex: Great Bedroom Colors - camillas

In the URL field copy and paste the URL to the pin you want to post. (I think this is pretty self explanatory, if not send me a message).

And the rest is the same as all the other linky parties.

We had 57 entries last week, I would LOVE to break 100 this week! Help me spread the word girls!

I will be out of town starting tomorrow on a church youth activity, so I won't be posting Thursday or Friday. So see you back here on Monday!

Freezer Jam in a Jiffy?

As fast as you can wash and food process your strawberries is as fast as you can have freezer jam!

Don't believe me?

I made 3 batches of Freezer jam a couple nights ago and it only took me like 45 minutes. And it was that long because I had my 3 and 1 year old crying at my legs.

I saw this product online "Jam in a Jiffy."
You can make freezer jam without having to cook ANYTHING! all you do is chop the fruit up, mix in the powder and pour in the containers! SO Easy!

If you live in Utah you can buy this product at Macey's Grocery stores for around $4.99 or you can buy it online at cornabys.com.

Here's my stash!

* I bought two containers of Strawberries at Costco and used them all for the three batches

Eclectic Whatnot had a deal on one of those deal websites for her DSLR Camera Ruffle Strap at a great price. I fell in love with her blog and etsy shop and photography! She's like a Triathlete in the DIY world.
This is Ruthann, the mastermind behind her Esty Shop and beautiful photography.

This is the strap I got, but with a bright pink ruffle
So Pretty!

I love it! I forgot to take a picture of it before I put it on my camera.

Go and check out all the fun Goodness over at Eclectic Whatnot.

Alphabet Walls

I love Alphabet Walls. I thinking about doing one in my Playroom when our basement is finished.
If you are thinking of doing one here is some great inspiration!

There were so many more on Pinterest that I didn't get to post for you.

And be sure to go link up your favorite "Pin" on my Linky Party

I am doing the Handmade Gift Exchange over at Craftaholics Anonymous. I'm doing it for my first time and I'm pretty excited.

AND...I will be having a Giveaway coming up soon!
