Wrapping Paper Frame Gift
Here is MY finished product. All 17 (extra one for the festival of trees) Don't they look so cute!
I found my hounds tooth wrapping paper at Hobby Lobby
This one is mine...I thought a cute little nativity scene would be so adorable, and you could do ANYTHING inside the frame or even take off the ribbon and put a rosette or ornament on it. I even thought that this could be used for Valentines Day by switching out the embellishment on it.

No Knit Scarf
Martha Stewarts no knit scarf...
Doesn't this look so easy?
I really want to try this project out and see if it comes out as cute as this picture.
Here's a cozy yet speedy project. Cut 12 pieces of bulky-weight yarn to about 1 1/2 times the desired length of the final scarf. (We used 140-inch pieces to make an 86-inch scarf.) Divide yarn into 4 bunches of 3 strands each. Tie 2 bunches together with a square knot, leaving 6 inches of fringe at end; repeat with remaining bunches. Pin the knots to a piece of foam board. Knot inner 2 bunches of yarn together, spacing knot about 1 inch from existing knots, then knot left and right bunches together. Alternate knotting the inner bunches and the left and right ones, spacing knots evenly apart, until about 6 inches of yarn remain on the end. Finish so that final knots mirror opposite end, and trim to even the ends.

Christmas Wish
The Cricut Expression (the Expression fits 12 x 12 paper instead of the 12 x 6 for the regular Cricut).
And while we are asking I'll ask for a Gypsy too, this allows you to not have to interchange all the cartridges (I think).
Look at all these cute projects that are possible with the Cricut! There is no way that I would be able to cut out all these things with this fine of detail by hand. LOVE the Cricut.
Cut out intricate fabric cutting
scrapbooking... AMAZING
Invitations, thank you cards, stationary galore!
Paper creations...Whatever you can imagine, it can do.
Glass Etching (I've tried this with the Cricut and it totally worked)
Vinyl ANYTHING
My good friend has one that she had never learned to use and I finally went over and figured it out for her and now I LOVE it. There are so many Black Friday deals for these going on. If you get one for Christmas let me know and I will envy you Forever (or until I get one one day).
Look at this Martha Stewart Cricut Cake! It cuts out Fondant for cake decorating. Now, I don't cake decorate, but if I did...! I would totally need this too.

Potato Rosemary Rolls
Potato Rosemary Rolls
2 1/2 teaspoons of yeast
1/2 cup warm water
3/4 cup shortening
½ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup mashed potatoes
1 cup scalded milk
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1. In a small bowl, put the yeast in the warm water and stir with a spoon. Let sit for about five minutes or until the yeast starts to bubble. Scald the milk and let it cool for two minutes.
2. In a large bowl, mix together sugar, shortening, and salt. Add the milk and stir in one cup of the flour. Next, add the yeast mixture and the beaten eggs. Add the mashed potatoes and rosemary and stir. Stir in the remaining flour until the dough comes together.
3. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until smooth, about 5 minutes. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour. Place the dough in a large greased bowl and let rise in a warm spot for about 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
4. Punch down the dough. To form the rolls, pinch off about a 1/2 tablespoon of dough and roll into a ball. Place three balls into a greased muffin tin. Continue forming rolls until dough is gone. Let the rolls rise until doubled in size, about 30 minutes. Bake rolls at 375 degrees F for about 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and serve warm.

Christmas Subway Art
I didn't really know what "Subway Art" was exactly until recently. If someone had asked me I couldn't have said, but it seems to be all over the blog-osphere these days. So I really love this one. Plus, as you know I really love eighteen25. They have the printable here and also the printable for the pennant flag banner, AND there is instructions to make the glitter trees too! What more could you want!? Someone to make it for you, Right?
